The Best Menu without Dinner Reservations

You want to go out for a filling weekend dinner, but you don't have time or energy to put in the work of making reservations. You could call every restaurant within 30 miles and hope that they have an open table, but where's the fun in that? Luckily there is a better way!

Our patrons often ask: "Do you require dinner reservations?" or "If we bring a large group, can we just walk in?" The answer is simple. While we do encourage reservations for large groups of 6+ people, you can rest assured that when your group comes in, you will be served the best dinner near Townsend, TN! And if you do end up putting your name down for a maximum 30-minute wait per large group, there are plenty of things to see near Elvira's Cafe to make the time pass by faster.

Our spacious porch wraps around the entire cafe and offers a 180-degree view of the mountains surrounding Wears Valley. Sometimes you can even spot a bear or two, so keep your eyes peeled for wildlife! There's also a huge yard to enjoy, as well as beautiful flowers and seasonal decorations all around. We take pride in keeping our property well-maintained and it really is something special to see!

Our neighbors at Haper Bros. General Store are only a minute walk from Elvira's Cafe. In addition to its large selection of Smoky Mountain memorabilia, the store recently introduced a wonderful array of horses available for patting and riding. They even have a Skylift with a 30-minute ride up to the top of the mountain where you can simply relax and embrace the peaceful side of the Smokies!

And when it's time for dinner, Elvira's Cafe menu won't disappoint! We offer a huge selection of meat, fish and chicken dishes with all the proper fixings and yummy desserts. Most of our menu items are made from scratch here at Elvira’s Cafe and we like to take pride in the freshness of every ingredient that goes into it.

We start cooking your food right when you sit down. With our open-style kitchen as a centerpiece of the restaurant, you can witness Chef David's magic at work as he prepares the entire gravitas of Southern cuisine, from hamburger steak and red snapper to fried green tomatoes and fresh chili. At Elvira’s Cafe, you can find a little bit of everything on the menu.

So save yourself the hassle of dinner reservations. Walk in and get served a fantastic meal! Come on down to Elvira's for some great dinner served every Friday and Saturday, from 5 pm to 8 pm. You can thank us later after you've tasted our delicious menu options that are sure to please any palate.

We hope to see you soon!
